SUPC Tendering Policy
In line with EU Procurement Directives, SUPC is required to advertise tenders in the Supplement of the Official Journal of the EU. Forthcoming and current tender information is also shown on this website. SUPC uses two types of tendering procedure - open and restricted.
Under the open procedure all suppliers who respond to an advertisement are supplied with the tender documentation - this route is usually taken when purchasing standard items such as goods.
Under the restricted procedure there are two stages - the first is pre-qualification assessment and the second, for the successful, receipt of the tender document. This route is normally used for service requirements or non-standard goods.
