Learn more about the recently launched Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) Maturity Matrix and self-assessment tool. This innovative tool is designed to help you assess the maturity of your HRDD practices, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement. With increasing expectations for public authorities to implement HRDD, this tool offers essential practical support. The self-assessment component generates a rating for each practice area, while the matrix indicates the HRDD practices and organizational characteristics at different maturity levels.
Speakers:
- Boris Verbrugge (Research Expert in Responsible Business Conduct, HIVA-KU Leuven University and author of 'Promoting Human Rights in ICT Supply Chains: a guide for public buyers') - Will discuss the concept of HRDD and the role of public buyers.
- Daria Toshi (former Senior Manager in Modern Slavery and Human Rights, Griffith University) and Bruce Pain (Head of Procurement, Griffith University) - Will jointly present the rationale for the tool and its structured improvement support, drawing on their experience with the Modern Slavery Maturity Progression Framework that inspired the matrix.
- Darran Whatley (General Commodity and Responsible Procurement Manager, London School of Economics) - Will share user feedback on the tool’s benefits and practical applications.
