EVENT DETAILS
Are you sure that you are reaching ALL suppliers who could be providing a fantastic service for your University? Could there be some bias in process or decision making that favours suppliers from certain backgrounds? Would you like to be doing more to encourage inclusive practices in your suppliers?
Join expert and SUMS Associate Consultant Ellie Highwood for a 90-minute interactive online workshop providing a refresher on diversity and inclusion basics, and updates on the latest developments in this rapidly moving area of work. We'll explore how our brains can sometimes turn helpful shortcuts into unhelpful biases and the impact these can have on decision making. In the second half of the workshop there will be break-out sessions to look at some procurement scenarios through an equality, diversity and inclusion lens, and start growing your inclusive mindset.
BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS
This workshop will be delivered online and is free for SUPC members to attend. Please 'REGISTER' above to secure your place and choose the date you would like to attend.
Please only book yourself onto one of the dates available. This workshop will be the same content delivered on both days.
DATE NOT AVAILABLE
If the date you would like to book on to is fully booked please get in touch and we can add you to a waiting list should anyone cancel. If both sessions are fully booked and there's demand we will look at scheduling future sessions.
