HEPA’s next time to talk session on 21st October will include a presentation from David Hansom of Clyde and Co, covering the current state of understanding re implications for Procurement regulations beyond 2021. David will also be available to answer questions.

Making sense of Brexit; where are we now for the higher education sector? Led by Clyde & Co partner and co-head of global education David Hansom, this session will cover:

  • Update on the current negotiations, state of play and direction of travel
  • What happens, when, in a 'no deal' outcome? What are the impacts on EU funding, state aid regulation, current projects, procurements activity and student recruitment?
  • What to do now. Many institutions have already undertaken Brexit resilience work to examine their supply chains and put contingencies in place. What are the other practical solutions to the uncertainty?
