Thank you to our members and exhibitors for joining us at our first fully virtual LUPC & SUPC conference and exhibition on 20 May 2021. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! More than 300 participants and 55 suppliers attended, engaging with the speakers and with each other via the Whova conference platform.
We held four live webinars on thought-provoking subjects covering how to thrive in the changing work of public procurement, procurement transformation, measuring social value, and mental health, as well as 10 on-demand category sessions. Thank you to all our knowledgeable speakers for their insight!
Attendees also had the chance to network with each other and meet someone new via our randomly assigned virtual networking tables.
We’ve already received some great feedback so far:
- “It was a valuable and useful day. We could tell that you’d work really hard to put a constructive programme together – and the conference platform worked very well…. Overall – a fantastic achievement. Well done!” Rob Logan, University of Bristol
- “The content of all sessions was great and very pertinent to the sector at present. There were good and helpful takeaways from the speakers’ comments.” LUPC Member
- “I thought it was an excellent example of first-class organisation, innovation and taking risks which justly paid off. Well done.” Sid Bains, Mercell UK (Exhibitor)
- “Very well organised event, we were impressed. Very interactive!” Justyna Potorska, SciQuip (Exhibitor)
