When you find one you’re interested in, click “View framework” this will provide you with a brief overview of the framework along with the awarded suppliers, as well as the relevant SUPC Category Manager contact details.

Why use SUPC frameworks?

Access the Hunter Buyer portal

To access full documentation and call‐off mechanics you’ll need access to the Hunters Buyers Portal (our Framework Contract Document repository).

To request login credentials:

  • Email supc@sums.ac.uk requesting portal access.
  • We will issue your organisation with login details so you can download Buyer Guides, contract terms, pricing schedules, supplier lists and more.

How to call-off from the framework

Once you’ve identified a framework that suits your needs, you can proceed with procurement via one of the compliant routes. Typical methods include:

  • Direct award — selecting the top‐scoring supplier on a lot where that fits your operational need
  • Further competition or desktop exercise — where you need to invite multiple suppliers under the framework to bid or compare

Your Buyer Guide will give the detailed steps for that specific framework as well as SUPC or UKUPC contact details should you need or require further assistance.

Implement & manage a contract

By using a SUPC framework, you benefit from:

  • Pre-negotiated terms and conditions, allowing you to go to market faster
  • A compliant route to market that supports audit, governance and value for money
  • Supplier documentation, pricing and call‐off templates ready to use

Once you’ve placed your order, you simply manage it in line with your institution’s contracting and procurement governance rules.

As part of our SUPC membership agreement, members are required to provide SUPC with a copy of their call-off order form, please send this over to supc@sums.ac.uk
