The SUMS Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol Murphy to the role of Head of Procurement, providing operational leadership of Procurement Category team to deliver strategic procurement initiatives.
With extensive experience in both public and private sector procurement, Carol brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to SUPC.
Carol has primarily worked in the telecoms and housing sectors, where she has successfully led procurement teams through significant transformation. Her leadership has been instrumental in preparing and implementing changes in relation to the Procurement Act 2023, ensuring compliance and driving forward best practices.
Carol is known for her commitment to continuous improvement, efficiency, and value for money. She has driven significant change within organisations, always seeking innovative solutions to enhance procurement processes. Her dedication to procurement excellence, collaboration and innovation is evident in her approach.
