SUMS Group contact details are changing!

Currently, our email accounts for SUPC and SUMS Consulting are kindly hosted by the University of Reading, meaning our email suffix is @reading.ac.uk. SUMS Group is now in a position to move to our own established domain and email tenancy –sums.ac.uk, meaning we can better represent ourselves and be more aligned with our company branding.

On Monday 23 September, we will be migrating all of our staff accounts away from the Reading domain, which will encompass Email Addresses, Telephone Numbers, Teams Channels and OneDrive Data.

What does this mean for members and suppliers?

• our outward and inward facing email addresses will change and be formatted as initial.surname@sums.ac.uk
• the new contact email for SUPC will be supc@sums.ac.uk
• any access to areas within your platforms under the current Reading email address will need to be replaced with the new @sums.ac.uk email address. You have 12 months to do this as the Reading accounts will remain live for a year post migration
• we advise asking your IT department to add @sums.ac.uk to the white (safe) list so that emails are not caught in spam filters
• our telephone numbers will change and will be communicated on our website in the coming weeks, to give everyone time to ensure any changes are made on your own internal databases.

This transition is part of improvements to our IT systems, necessary for the SUMS Group to continue to grow and better serve our members. Please accept our apologies for the slight disruption, and our thanks for your continuing support to SUPC.
