We are pleased to share the latest edition of the SUPC travel newsletter with members. This document highlights how each supplier on the Travel Management Services framework enables members to achieve practical outcomes, from efficiency and added‑value services to innovations that improve user experience.
What’s inside?
This newsletter includes practical insights from each of our framework Travel Management Company (TMC) suppliers, focusing on the tangible benefits they provide to institutions – from saving staff time and reducing administrative burden, to securing value for money and supporting effective travel governance.
Given the current situation in parts of the Middle East, this edition also serves as a timely reminder of the additional value that using an approved TMC provides. During periods of disruption and uncertainty, TMCs play a critical role in:
- monitoring global events and travel risk in real time
- providing proactive traveller alerts and itinerary management
- supporting institutional duty of care responsibilities
- offering 24/7 emergency assistance and escalation routes
- interpreting and relaying official guidance, including advice from the FCDO.
While supplier communications will continue directly to customers, we felt it was important to reinforce the practical support available through the framework and the reassurance this provides to institutions and travellers alike.
