In July, we updated members with the latest in travel news across the HE sector. This included insight into the Travel Management Framework, reflections on our LUPC & SUPC Conference 2024 and British Travel Association (BTA) – on the King’s Speech.
Key takeaways:
- the TMS Framework Agreement brings about new quality and offers a fresh look at the marketplace. All participating member institutions have access to carefully curated group of large suppliers and their up-to-date service offering
- full members of LUPC and SUPC joined us at the LUPC & SUPC Conference 2024 in London for a day of lively discussion, expert workshops, and networking. We were delighted to see all TMS suppliers present, with two – Key Travel and Diversity Travel among the event sponsors.
- following the State Opening of Parliament, King Charles delivered the first King’s Speech to a Labour parliamentary majority in over 70 years. The speech set out 40 new Bills and Draft Bills which largely delivered on Labour’s manifesto priorities, as expected delivering economic growth was a key theme throughout.
