We are delighted to announce the launch of the new Apple Equipment & Associated Services Framework (ITS3028 NW).  This framework brings together the 2 previous Apple Frameworks – Individual and National into a singular framework.

Both the Individual and National Apple Frameworks will continue to run concurrently next to the new framework until their end dates of 31st October 2025. The new framework will run from the 18th September 2025 to 31st July 2027 with two 12-month extension options until 31st July 2029. The framework is open to NWUPC, APUC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, and SUPC members.

The new framework has been established for the provision of the following goods:

Apple manufactured equipment utilising the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) operating systems (currently MacOS, iPadOS, iOS and Watch OS) and any future additional proprietary operating systems which may be implemented during the period covered by the Framework.

Staff and students will be required to provide evidence of member institution in a method deemed acceptable by the supplier.

How do I buy from the framework?

This Framework allows you to buy through three options. Direct award, desktop exercise or mini competition. You should choose the option most appropriate to your purchase taking into consideration; your Organisational Procurement Guidance and Financial Regulations, the products you wish to purchase and the specific requirements of your organisation.

How has Responsible Procurement been considered as part of the tender?

The NETpositive Supplier Engagement Tool will be used as part of contract management. The UKUPC Supply Chain Code of Conduct was issued to suppliers as part of this tender. The Electronics Watch Contract Conditions was issued to suppliers as part of this tender.
