Join Electronics Watch tomorrow from 1-2pm for an insightful discussion on the conditions of migrant workers in Taiwan’s electronics industry and the hurdles they encounter in forming trade unions. Migrant workers in Taiwan continue to endure numerous rights infringements, including high recruitment fees, discrimination, and precarious work and living conditions. Their avenue to enhance their well-being lies in collective organisation and negotiation. Hear from two migrant worker representatives and Electronics Watch’s monitoring partner, Serve the People Association (SPA).
