Daniel joined SUPC in March 2024, taking the role of Professional Services Category Manager.
His professional background comprises a number of procurement roles in Public Sector organisations, including NHS Purchasing Consortium and NHS Commissioning Support Unit, where he managed at-scale procurements, both direct and indirect.
Daniel led on regional and cross-regional capital Major Medical Equipment procurement programmes such as Digital Pathology rollout for the South-West Genomic Laboratory Hub, as well as complex enterprise technology revamps.
In recent years his primary field of focus was Information and Communication Technology – he led teams of sourcing agents procuring software, hardware and ICT professional services. In his view procurement is all about solving customers’ problems.
In his free time he reads and rides motorbikes, though rarely at the same time.
