Taron specialises in supplier and relationship management.
Taron joined SUPC in November 2019 from a leading non-bank specialist mortgage lender where he managed the service contracts of solicitors, field agents and debt recovery firms. During this time Taron was vital to building a centralised Supplier Management team bringing together operational elements of previously devolved functions. Prior to this he worked as a Procurement Officer for a large BPO firm focussed primarily on purchasing training/learning and development products for large banks and insurance companies.
Whilst new to the world of higher education Taron has quickly immersed himself into the operations of SUPC assisting with projects such as developing the process around collecting business continuity information from framework suppliers and more recently aggregating member demand for Personal Protective Equipment following the outbreak of COVID-19. Previously, Taron oversaw the Estates and Facilities Management Category for SUPC and now leads on the Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine (STEMed) Category.
Taron is a keen supporter of local footballing giants, Aldershot Town F.C enjoys travelling and is currently studying towards his Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
