Procurement Shared Service: Helping You Meet Your Project Needs

The Procurement Shared Service (PSS) provides specialist procurement support to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to help them secure best value from their procurement activities. Recently though, the PSS offered its services to help an institution closer to home - SUPC - with one of our priorities.


Our Head of Procurement, Rob Johnson, urgently needed an experienced, short-term interim to replace a vacant Category Manager role in short notice. In order to find the most suitable replacement, who could hit the ground running and drive the strategic project forward, Rob contacted PSS Operational Manager Judith Russell. Through its experience in Project Support activities and extensive pool of skilled associates, the PSS was able to assist SUPC in sourcing a skilled and positive appointment in Rob Godfrey, who was able to drive the project forward and hand it over in a very positive position.
